The Royal Air Forces Ex-POW Association (Australian Branch) Prize in History is provided from the annual income after capitalisation in accordance with Senate policy on a fund established in remembrance of all British Commonwealth aircrew who served in the 1939–45 war. 2. The prize is awarded by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Humanities to the student with the highest mark in HIST2245 Britain in the 20th Century. 3. In any year in which there are no enrolments in HIST2245 Britain in the 20th Century, the prize is awarded to the student with the highest mark in an alternate History unit that in the opinion of the Chair of the History Discipline Group, having regard to the donor's intentions, is most apt. |
