Hodges Prize in Musical Composition of $100 is provided annually by Mr J. Hodges with the intention of stimulating original musical thought among young composers. 2. The prize is open to all undergraduate students of the University. 3. The prize is awarded to the student who, in the opinion of the examiners to be appointed by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, submits the best musical composition in any form or medium. 4. Competitors must submit their compositions to reach the Head of the School of Music not later than the last day of September in the year of the award. |
