The Metso MineralsĀ Prize of $400, provided by Metso Minerals, is awarded by the Board of Examiners in Engineering, Computing and Mathematics to the student who, at the Mechanical Engineering Final Year Conference, in the opinion of the Head of the School of Mechanical Engineering, delivers the best paper relating to an engineering project unit taken in the final 48 points of the Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemical and Process Engineering programmes in a single or combined course leading to the Bachelor of Engineering degree.
