Mrs Marlene Creina Schrader having established the William and Marlene Schrader Trust, the Trust hereby provides in perpetuity two prizes of $1000 to encourage and further the study of biomedical engineering in The University of Western Australia. 1. The prizes are called the William and Marlene Schrader Prizes. 2. The prizes are provided from the income of the William and Marlene Schrader Trust, administered by the Trustee appointed in the Last Will and testament of Marlene Creina Schrader. 3. The prizes are awarded to the students in a Bachelor of Engineering course or a combined course with a Bachelor of Engineering component who, in the opinion of the Board of Examiners in Engineering, Computing and Mathematics, having regard to the recommendation of the William and Marlene Schrader Awarding Committee, have completed the best Final Project in the field of biomedical engineering. 4. The William and Marlene Schrader Awarding Committee comprises: (a) the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics; (b) a nominee of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics; and (c) the Trustee of the William and Marlene Schrader Trust or nominee. |
