Mr Thomas Sten, formerly superintendent of teacher training in the Education Department and Principal of the Teachers' College, Claremont, and a former member of the Faculty of Education, presented $500 to the University to provide for an annual prize in Education to be called the Thomas Sten Prize in Education. 2. The prize consists of the income after capitalisation, in accordance with Senate policy, on the accumulated capital sum. 3. The prize is awarded by the Board of Examiners in Education to the student who has the highest aggregate mark for the units in the Graduate Diploma in Education course. |
