Family and friends having donated a sum creating a fund to provide an annual prize in memory of the late Claire Harkness, a graduate of the Law School, the Claire Harkness Memorial Prize is established and is awarded in accordance with the following conditions.

1. The prize consists of the income of the fund after capitalisation in accordance with Senate policy.

2. The prize is awarded by the Board of Examiners in Law to the student with the highest mark in LAWS3390 Securities.
