The Frank Edward Parsons Memorial Prize in Law consists of the annual income after capitalisation, in accordance with Senate policy, on a sum of $897.40 presented by a group of Old Modernians in memory of Frank Edward Parsons (only son of Mr J. Parsons, MA, formerly headmaster of the Perth Modern School), a graduate with first class honours in Law of The University of Western Australia, who lost his life in 1942 while serving with the Royal Australian Air Force. 2. The prize is awarded by the Board of Examiners in Law to the student who, among those completing the course for the degree of Bachelor of Laws who have shown merit in the whole of the course, has displayed the most outstanding personal characteristics for leadership and service. |
