The Nicholas Searcy Calculus Prize consists of the annual income after capitalisation in accordance with Senate policy, on the sum of $5000 provided by Ms Jennifer Searcy. 1. The prize is awarded by the Board of Examiners in the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences to the student with the highest mark in MATH2209 Calculus and Probability. 2. To be eligible for the prize, the recipient must— (a) be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia; (b) have achieved a 'Distinction' or above in the unit for which the prize is awarded; and (c) be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor of Science course in the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences. |
