Sally Joyston-Bechal Study Group Prize [F7628]

1. The Sally Joyston-Bechal Study Group Prize of $500 is awarded by the Board of Examiners in Dentistry to the student completing Level 2 units in the course for the degree of Bachelor of Dental Science who has attained a high standard of academic achievement and made a substantial contribution to the success of the formal and informal activities of the School of Dentistry during enrolment in the units.

2. Nominations, which may be made by students or academic staff in the School of Dentistry, must be submitted to the Head of the School by the last day of instruction in second semester and must address the following criteria:

(a) academic performance;

(b) sporting activities organised by the Dental Alumni Society and/or the University Dental Students' Society;

(c) participation in dental functions; and

(d) participation in the University Dental Students' Society.
