Convocation, the UWA Graduates Association Prize in Dentistry (Level 3) [F1739]

1. A Convocation, the UWA Graduates Association Prize of a book voucher and certificate is awarded by the Board of Examiners in Dentistry to the student who, among those who have completed the Level 3 units of the course for the degree of Bachelor of Dental Science, has, in the opinion of the Board of Examiners in Dentistry, made the greatest contribution to the success of the formal and informal activities of the School of Dentistry during enrolment in those units.

2. Nominations, which may be made by students or academic staff in the School of Dentistry, must be submitted to the Head of the School by the last day of instruction in second semester and must address the following criteria:

(a) academic performance;

(b) sporting activities organised by the Dental Alumni Society and/or the University Dental Students' Society;

(c) participation in dental functions; and

(d) participation in the activities of the University Dental Students' Society.

3. The recommendation for award of the prize must reach the Examinations Office by the end of December each year.
