The Max Kamien Prize in General Practice of $200 is awarded annually to the student who has, in the opinion of the appropriate Board of Examiners in consultation with a nominee of the Western Australian Faculty of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, submitted the best report on the problems facing a patient with a chronic disease as part of the patient and doctor conduct component of IMED1111 Foundations of Clinical Practice and IMED1112 Foundations of Clinical Practice in the course for the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. 2.
