Geoffrey Ashburton Thompson Memorial Prize [F2613]

1. The Geoffrey Ashburton Thompson Memorial Prize consists of the annual income after capitalisation, in accordance with Senate policy, on $370 presented in 1962 by the Western Australian Branch of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in memory of the late Geoffrey Ashburton Thompson, a distinguished fellow of this college and the first consultant obstetrician to practise in Western Australia.

2. The prize is awarded by the appropriate Board of Examiners to the student who has shown most ability in gynaecology during the course for the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
