Hugh Doyle Prize in Geophysics [F1869]

1. The Hugh Doyle Prize in Geophysics consists of the annual income after capitalisation, in accordance with Senate policy, on a sum of money donated to the then Department of Geology and Geophysics and is awarded in recognition of Hugh Doyle's contribution to that department.

2. The prize is awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Earth and Environment in consultation with the relevant teaching staff, to the student who, among those completing the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology, has shown the greatest aptitude for geophysics.
