The David Evans Memorial Prize in Agriculture consists of the annual income on $400 presented in 1947 by the relatives of the late David Evans, who was killed in action while serving in the Royal Australian Air Force during the 1939–45 War, to commemorate his deep interest in conservation of the land. 2. The prize is awarded to the student who, in the opinion of the Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, submits the best essay as part of the requirements for ECON3300 Agricultural Economics and Marketing. |
