Alec Boyd Scholarship * [F2996]

An asterisk (*) indicates that this scholarship is governed by conditions. This scholarship is governed by the General Conditions for Scholarships for Coursework Students except as set out in the conditions that follow.

1. The Alec Boyd Scholarship of $3000 is awarded by the School of Mathematics and Statistics to the female student commencing honours in Pure Mathematics who has the highest aggregate mark in mathematics units taken in the course that qualified her for admission to the honours programme.

2.(1) The scholarship is paid in two halves, one at the beginning of each semester.

(2) Payment of the second half of the scholarship is subject to the recipient making satisfactory progress in the previous semester.

3. The award may be shared if two or more students are judged to be equal in terms of condition 1.
